The Article describes the need and the bottleneck of the open context-sensitive system, and briefly introduce the current interoperation between the OpenURL, the link resolver, the knowledgebase and the database platforms. The study focuses on the open knowledgebase’s metadata, cooperation and opportunity. Finally, we discuss the extended application of the open knowledgebase.
